Tired of the Strip Tease? Alternative Client Entertainment Ideas

Blog

Usually when businesses are trying to snag newer, bigger, and better clients (especially those from foreign markets) they rely on strip tease bars and parlors. If you are tired of the strip tease, you need some new ideas and new venues for client entertainment. Here are some alternatives to entertain, amuse, and even drive home business points with your potential clients.

Skydiving

Thrill-seekers will love this form of entertainment. It is both entertaining and a business metaphor in one. It says, "I'm willing to take risks with you, jump into a business partnership, and enjoy both the free-fall and skyrocketing profits!". The best part is, there are skydiving businesses open on Friday afternoons and evenings so you and your clients can still head to a bar or dinner after jumping out of a plane together.

Escape Rooms

This latest and hottest form of entertainment involves you and a team of others getting into a locked room and working together to find out how to escape. Not only is this fun and entertaining, but it is also a work metaphor. You are showing your team effort and willingness to work together towards a common goal. You will also discover some things about potential clients you might not otherwise have known without this introductory exercise in teamwork. It may help you decide if you still want these clients to be clients, or if you would rather pass on this partnership for the next one.

Comedy Clubs

Laughter is a true icebreaker. Finding out what you think is funny and what your potential clients think is funny is just as important as understanding teamwork and collaboration. It gives you a little insight into how your clients think about different topics and whether or not you want a client who thinks that misogyny is funny or thinks that parenthood problems are hilarious and relatable. In addition to making these discoveries about each other and the client's sense of humor, comedy clubs offer full bars and relaxing chairs in which to sit. In intermissions, you can talk business.

Live Sporting Events in Box Seats

You can appeal to your clients competitive side by substituting the strip tease with sports. Check sporting calendars for events on the weekends or nights when your clients are expected to arrive. Book box seats with full catering so that they can relax, eat, drink, watch the game, and talk business.

Effectively Marketing Your Business With Signs

Using signs to market your business is a cost effective option that will keep paying for itself for years to come. But simply printing your company's name on a sign and setting it up for the world to see probably isn't going to drive the amount of business through your door that you are looking for. It's important to use branding techniques and to implement action-oriented colors into your message to enhance your chances of success. As a marketing assistant I understand first hand how hard it is for people to create their business presence, so I started this blog to help make things easier for those who want to increase their customer base. Hopefully the information here can help you!
